The impact of Naturopathic and Yogic Lifestyle Modifications over 21 Days
on Fasting Blood Sugar Levels in Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus patient.
Personalised Diagnosis
A female patient, aged 58 years, had come to Prakriti Shakti with complaints of disturbed sleep and weight gain. She has been suffering from type 2 diabetes mellitus for the past six years but has never taken any medication.
Naturopathy Treatment
At Prakriti Shakti, she underwent 21 days of raw food diet, including 10 days of vegetable thin juices. She was also prescribed naturopathy therapies like Swedish massage, water therapies, mud therapies, sunbath, reflexology walk, and 3 hours of yoga, including asanas, pranayama, mudras, bandhas, and meditation, scheduled every day.

Clinical Data
The Fasting Blood Sugar (FBS) levels were taken every day at 6:20 am using a glucometer. The data showed a significant reduction in FBS from 300 mg/dl to 124 mg/dl after 21 days of treatment. The average FBS level obtained was 138 mg/dl. Also observed was an elevation in the FBS caused by the disturbed sleep she was suffering from due to mental stress.
Observed Outcome
Results prove that following a naturopathic and yogic lifestyle improves blood glucose levels, while a nutrient-rich raw diet helps the body regain its healing power.
