Patient History
A male patient, aged 49 years, had come to Prakriti Shakti with complaints of uncontrolled high blood pressure for 3 years, with pollen allergy and job stress.
Treatments at Prakriti Shakti
He underwent 14 days of raw food diet and other naturopathy therapies including massages, water therapies, mud therapies, sunbath, reflexology walks, and 3 hours of yoga including asanas, pranayama, mudras, bandhas, and meditation in a well-scheduled daily routine. Our doctors also prescribed acupressure for hypertension and yoga techniques to self-practice as a follow-up.
Observations
The blood pressure was measured on a daily basis, before and after the personalised yoga to check the effectiveness. At the end of his programme, we observed that his blood pressure came back to normal levels. The blood pressure was effectively controlled by lifestyle modifications. The blood pressure measured prior to, and post-yoga showed fluctuations with significant drops and rises.

Results
Results show that naturopathic and yogic lifestyle modifications helped manage blood pressure effectively with or without medication.
