Patient History
A male patient aged 54 years old had come to Prakriti Shakti with complaints of neck stiffness and pain radiating towards the fingers for 8 months.
Treatment at Prakriti Shakti
He underwent 14 days of raw food diet and other naturopathy therapies including massages, water therapies, mud therapies, sunbaths, reflexology walks, and 3 hours of yoga, including Asanas, pranayama, mudras, bandhas, and meditation in a well-scheduled daily routine. Personalized naturopathy treatments and yoga were given for pain management. We also provided him with acupressure and yoga techniques to self-practice as a follow-up. The reason behind his pain from the neck to fingers was nerve compression, and naturopathy procedures and exercises helped to relieve the nerve compression and irritation to some extent.
Observations
The pain scale (Lane Medical Library, Stanford Medicine) was used to assess his pain during the period.

Pain scale:
0: No pain /discomfort
1-2: Slight pain/discomfort
3-5: Pain disturbing daily activities, no need for medication
6-8: Pain disturbing daily activities, need medications for pain management
9-10: Need immediate medical attention.
Results
Results suggest that naturopathic and yogic lifestyle modifications and the various procedures helped with pain management.
